Open Water Scuba Diver Certification
(New Diver)

The Open Water Scuba Diver Certification is the first certification all scuba divers get. This certification is designed to equip individuals with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for scuba diving. Typically spanning a few days, the course covers essential topics such as dive theory, equipment usage, underwater communication, safety procedures, and more. Participants engage in both classroom or eLearning sessions and practical training in confined water environments before progressing to open water dives. Instructors focus on teaching buoyancy control, breathing techniques, and proper dive planning to instill confidence and competence in divers. Successful completion of the course grants participants an internationally recognized certification, enabling them to explore the wonders of the underwater world.

Advanced Open Water Diver

The SDI Advanced Diver Scuba Certification program offers divers the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge beyond the basic open water level. Geared towards adventurous divers seeking new challenges, this course delves deeper into specialized areas of scuba diving. Participants refine their buoyancy control, navigation techniques, and dive planning abilities while exploring diverse underwater environments. The program  includes a range of elective dives such as deep diving, night diving, wreck diving, and underwater photography. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, divers gain valuable experience in managing various underwater scenarios and honing their problem-solving skills. Successful completion of the SDI Advanced Diver Scuba Certification not only expands divers' capabilities but also opens up a world of exciting diving opportunities around the globe.

Nitrox Certification

Nitrox Certification provides divers with the knowledge and skills needed to dive with enriched air nitrox mixtures, which contain higher oxygen levels than traditional air. This certification course emphasizes the benefits of using nitrox, such as extended bottom times and reduced nitrogen absorption, while also addressing the potential risks and safety protocols associated with diving with enriched air. Participants learn about the physiological effects of increased oxygen levels, proper gas blending procedures, and how to analyze nitrox mixtures using specialized equipment. With practical training and classroom sessions, divers gain a comprehensive understanding of dive planning, oxygen exposure limits, and equipment considerations specific to nitrox diving. Obtaining the SDI Nitrox Certification opens up new opportunities for divers to explore longer dive times and maximize their underwater experiences with increased safety margins.
